On July 11, the digital intelligent production line for medium-horsepower tractors of Weichai Lovol Intelligent Agriculture was officially completed and commissioned, alongside a bulk delivery ceremony for VIP customers. Senior management of the company, core production line management team, partners from the Central and Southern China regions, and representatives of VIP customers gathered to witness this brand-new milestone in the upgrade of smart manufacturing.
At the ceremony, customer representatives were presented with golden keys that symbolize superior product quality and brand commitments. This marks the launch of a new round of high-quality deliveries of Weichai Lovol medium-horsepower tractors, which will further consolidate the brand reputation and strengthen trust among customers.
The newly commissioned production line delivers efficient coordination and complementary strengths with the existing large-horsepower tractor manufacturing plant. Leveraging the mature 5G digital intelligent management, automated assembly and high-standard quality control systems of the large-horsepower factory, the new line achieves full integration of technologies, product quality and production capacity. Through the coordination of the two production lines, Weichai Lovol Intelligent Agriculture has established an integrated smart manufacturing system covering the full lineup of large and medium-horsepower tractors. This optimizes the digital production layout for high-end tractors, realizes full-spectrum product coverage and end-to-end digitalized production workflows, and will strongly drive the large-scale commercialization of innovative technologies and the high-end upgrading of the agricultural machinery industry.
The production line underwent a six-month comprehensive upgrade, with systematic renovations focused on six core dimensions: coating processes, key production equipment, logistics technologies, performance testing capabilities, digital quality control and order delivery efficiency. By revamping coating workflows, deploying unmanned logistics and AI management systems, implementing full-coverage complete machine performance inspection, upgrading digital quality control frameworks, and introducing flexible mixed-model production modes, the facility achieves an all-round improvement in product quality and order fulfillment efficiency, enabling precise responses to diversified market demands.
