Shandong Heavy Industry Debuts at the 7th China-CEEC Local Leaders' Meeting & 2026 Shandong International Friendship Cities Cooperation and Exchange Week

From May 25 to 29, the 7th China-CEEC Local Leaders' Meeting and 2026 Shandong International Friendship Cities Cooperation and Exchange Week were held in Shandong. Over 600 Chinese and foreign guests from 44 countries and 15 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across China gathered in Qilu to discuss cooperation, celebrate the grand event, and create a shared future. Wang Zhijian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, attended the opening ceremony.

During the High-Quality Development Comprehensive Promotion Conference, the Group’s International Business Department delivered a presentation on international cooperation in advanced equipment manufacturing. The aim was to further deepen cooperation and exchanges with Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries, expand the company’s global network, advance the strategic layout in the CEE market, and support industrial coordination and win-win development in the region.

A highlight of the event was the Shandong Heavy Industry Special Agricultural Machinery Exhibition, jointly organized by the Shandong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Weichai LOVOL Intelligent Agriculture. Weichai LOVOL Intelligent Agriculture and Weichai Power showcased 18 high-end intelligent agricultural machinery and supporting tools. Their robust intelligent manufacturing capabilities earned high recognition and widespread acclaim from CEE participants.

In the tractor exhibition area, a full lineup of Weichai LOVOL intelligent tractors covering 40 to 340 horsepower was neatly displayed. The comprehensive and impressive fleet precisely meets the operational needs of small and medium-sized family farms, large-scale agricultural cooperatives, and other entities, providing customized agricultural production solutions.

Among them, the LOVOL P8340CVT tractor, equipped with core continuously variable transmission (CVT) technology, became the center of attention. Boasting powerful performance and an intelligent, efficient electronic control system, it is compatible with various heavy-duty agricultural tools, delivering a new experience of efficiency, precision, and comfort for modern farming. The LOVOL F4100 orchard-specific tractor also stood out for cash crop cultivation. It features a domestically pioneered four-stage sealed cabin for noise reduction and environmental protection. Its narrow, lightweight design perfectly fits the confined spaces of orchards, effectively addressing industry pain points such as operational inconvenience and safety risks for orchard mechanization.

The harvesting machinery area was equally impressive. The LOVOL GK120 large grain combine harvester attracted significant attention. Compatible with corn, soybeans, rice, and other crops, it offers an optional 7-meter extended profiling header that adapts to undulating fields, significantly reducing harvesting losses with higher precision and better results. The concurrently displayed LOVOL RG130 evo crawler combine harvester also delivers exceptional performance. With powerful engine, a multi-functional header, and an extended threshing drum, it meets the harvesting needs of rice, wheat, soybeans, corn, and more, offering strong terrain adaptability and versatility.

At the exhibition, Weichai Power also showcased a range of high-performance power solutions tailored for various agricultural machinery applications, empowering the upgrade of high-end intelligent farming equipment. The WP3.6N and WP8 diesel engines feature advanced high-pressure common rail technology, achieving a B10 service life of 12,000 hours. They offer high reliability, strong power, fuel efficiency, driving comfort, and compatibility with B35 biodiesel, suitable for 75–175 HP and 250–360 HP tractors and harvesting machinery, respectively.

Additionally, the Weichai CVT340 powertrain, equipped with multi-section confluence transmission technology, boosts overall operational efficiency by 30% with a minimum fuel consumption of 195 g/kWh. It achieves 88.7% transmission efficiency in common speed ranges and supports full continuously variable speed from 0 to 40 km/h. Compatible with heavy-duty tractors above 240 HP, it fully meets the demands of efficient, stable, and comfortable large-scale modern farming.

Moving forward, Shandong Heavy Industry Group will continue to leverage the high-quality international platform of the Shandong International Friendship Cities Cooperation and Exchange Week. It will deepen industrial cooperation with CEE countries, further develop and strengthen the CEE market, promote more high-end Shandong equipment to go global, and strive to build a shining brand for China’s high-end intelligent manufacturing.
