On December 12, the 2025 Shandong Province Machinery Industry Innovation and Development Conference and the Annual Meeting of the Shandong Province Machinery Industry Association were held in Jinan. At the conference, Weichai Lovol Smart Agriculture was awarded the title of "Advanced Innovation Unit in Shandong Province's Machinery Industry".
This honor selection was led by the Shandong Province Machinery Industry Association, with strict selection from enterprises, institutions, research institutes, and universities in the machinery industry across the province, aiming to establish benchmarks for technological innovation in the industry and stimulate innovation vitality.
As a leader in China's intelligent agricultural machinery and smart agriculture, Weichai Lovol actively leverages the advantageous resources and synergistic effects of the Shandong Heavy Industry Group, continuously strengthens independent innovation, and has become the only enterprise in China's agricultural machinery industry that masters core technologies across the entire industrial chain.
Over the past three years, Weichai Lovol has invested over 2 billion yuan in research and development, collaborating with academician teams, more than 60 universities, and over 270 supply chain partners to carry out collaborative innovation. The Weifang-Linyi-Rizhao intelligent agricultural machinery equipment cluster, which it leads as the "chain master", has successfully been selected as a national advanced manufacturing cluster.
Anchoring national strategic needs, Weichai Lovol focuses on tackling key core technologies such as CVT continuously variable transmission and intelligent navigation, achieving the only serialized commercialization of power-shift and CVT tractors in China, and taking the lead in launching the first domestic 18kg/s large feeding capacity harvesting machinery. In addition, Weichai Lovol has also built the industry's first smart factory, leading China's agricultural machinery industry to leap forward in quality and intelligence.
